Construction of Concrete abutments and pouring concrete slab on Steel Bridge. On this project we were involved in constructing access bridge to Brentford community Stadium.  Bridge is approx. 12 m wide and 25 m long. We started from constructing pile caps and abutments. 

The challenge while constructing abutments was working in near proximity to live network rail and limited working space. We managed to meet very tight deadline even with late release of working area to the west and multiple variations. In order to meet deadlines we increased labour force and worked over weekends which shows our dedication to meet clients needs.

After completion of Abutments bridge was prefabricated and lifted by steelwork contractor and we were instructed to complete the deck which included fixing reinforcement and pouring 600 mm deck. Since we had to pour the deck over Live network rail pour was scheduled and completed in Sunday to minimize H&S risks to employees and members of the public.
